  1. I commented over there too that McCall’s 6992 is another raglan crewneck, I have that one but can’t speak to how much I like it because I haven’t sewn it up yet.

  2. I really could have used this post a year ago! I ended up mashing together the top of DIY Dixie’s Hot Cocoa Sweater (free pattern) and the bottom of the Sewaholic Renfrew to make a knit raglan sleeve top. The Simplicity web site does not get along with my computer so I’m not surprised I missed this one.

  3. Where I live it is actually way cheaper to buy the linden believe it or not! Even if I buy the Simplicity online, the shipping + tax are just killers. In my case its indie IS less haha!

  4. The design lines are very basic, so its probably possible to find a second hand pattern like these, or to cut up a faded rtw and copy it, if economy is sought.

  5. You could also get a similar pattern for *more* with the papercut undercover hood. The pattern has a variation with no hood – basically a raglan sleeve sweatshirt! I guess once again the relative pricing is going to depend where you live… And for the record I’ve just made the undercover hood: a perfectly nice pattern but I think too expensive.
